Viking Cone Beaker, Birka

Carefully handmade glass beaker with a hand-forged iron stand shaped as a serpent.

Cone beakers were quite common types of glass vessels during the Viking Age, and have been found across Scandinavia. This one is a reproduction of a find in Birka, Sweden. The beaker is handmade from green tinted glass and comes with a blue rim.

• Carefully handmade, and therefore minor variations may occur.
• Holds approx. 15 cl (5 US fl. oz)
• Glass height: Approx. 15 cm (5.9 inches), with stand approx. 16.5 cm (6.5 inches)
• Diameter at widest point: Approx. 9 cm (3.5 inches)
